Mindful Music in Meditation
Carolyn Whitt and Gene Groeschel began monthly meditations at Mulberry Art Studios on April 2nd, and will continue to hold them mostly on the first Sunday of the month at 8:30am. The meditation is one hour long, with some discussion at the end. The intention is to start your day with a peaceful outlook; a sense of well-being; and a gentle exploration of intuitive (improvisational) music in dreamtime. The tribal instruments played include Native American flutes and Kalimba (thumb piano). The benefit of an exotic timbre is its capacity to capture your full attention and hold you there in mindfulness of the beauty and mystery.
