PHILIP MALACHOWSKI: LIFE & DEATH TO THE HAPPIES, AND OTHER AMERICAN AMPHIGORIES
"Imagine a society of happies, of mental slaves, where inner life is reduced to a vast and grotesque theme park, uninterrupted, perfectly isolated, self-contained, where life all around oneself meanwhile crumbles into cultural ruin and decay…
It has come to this."
Mad Bastard Press announces a book signing and reading of Philip Malachowki’s "Life & Death to the Happies, and Other American Amphigories" hosted by Mulberry Art Studios on Sunday, February 3rd, 2008 at 1:00pm and again at 2:30pm.
Malachowski's exhibit of original illustrations and excerpts from his previous book,"Fables & Fairy Stories for the Dark and Sinister" was well received earlier this year in the North Gallery of Mulberry Art Studios, and the gallery is delighted that he chose to return to debut his latest creation.
