Candy Delaney: Pretty Vacant
The work of Candy Delaney, of Passionate Perspective Photography, will be on display in her Pretty Vacant exhibition at Mulberry Art Studios this July. A First Friday Opening Reception will be held from 5-9 on July 1st.
Urban explorer Candy Delaney’s Pretty Vacant exhibition transports the viewer into crumbling, peeling, and aesthetically beautiful architecture through captivating fine art. Acting as model and photographer, Delaney’s conceptual photography is set in abandoned churches, schools, asylums, resorts, hospitals, prisons, industrial buildings, and even transportation graveyards. This is a rare opportunity to view and own works of art representing what most would never see due to extreme decay and no trespassing limits.
“I incorporate an artistic eye into each photo as I document the beauty in decay around me” says Delaney. “Many of my self-portrait photos capture an emotional journey set in locations left vacant.”
