Lewis Lanza Rudolph: A Brothers Legacy
Four Decades of Art Presented by Denise Rudolph Ecenroad
A Brothers Legacy, a collection of artwork by the late Lewis Lanza Rudolph presented by his sister Denise Rudolph Ecenroad, will be exhibited at Mulberry Art Studios throughout the month of August. The public is invited to a First Friday Opening Reception on August 1st from 5pm until 9pm. A second reception will be held on Friday, August 15 from 5pm until 9pm. Mulberry Art Studios holds regular gallery hours on weekdays from 10am until 4pm, with evenings and weekends available by appointment.
A Brothers Legacy showcases forty years’ worth of large, abstract oil paintings of the late Lewis Lanza Rudolph, 1949-2012, a prolific and disciplined artist who had exhibited at several New York galleries. After his death, his sister uncovered over five hundred paintings, most of which had never before been seen by the public. Ecenroad worked closely with Mulberry Art Studios owner, April Koppenhaver, to curate this exhibit as a way to celebrate the lifetime artistic achievements of this respected and sophisticated artist. “As his sister I am grateful for this first opportunity to exhibit some of Lewis’s artwork from his early beginnings as a teen through his adult years,” says Ecenroad.
