Lindsey Stauffer

Lindsey Stauffer is a watercolor artist from Lancaster, PA. She grew up in Lititz, PA and spent many childhood hours roaming through her rural neighborhood. Today, many of her paintings reflect her continued appreciation for nature and small-town life.

Lindsey began taking art lessons in high school and continued to study with several local artists in the following years. She also began submitting works into national juried watercolor shows and attending national watercolor workshops. These influences combined with many hours of experimentation have helped her develop a vibrant, realistic style of watercolor painting. Lindsey is also an accomplished musician and has just completed four years of musical studies at Millersville University, PA.

Lindsey shows her art at local galleries, exhibitions, and outdoor art shows. Her art has been recognized and awarded in national juried art shows including those listed below. Her art has also been featured in magazines such as Fine Living Lancaster and Watercolor Artist Magazine.

Lonny VanBooven: Frozen In Time

Artist Lonny VanBooven will be bringing Frozen in Time, his newest collection of photography, to the Louise Gallery at Mulberry Art Studios for a month long exhibition this August.  The exhibit opens with a First Friday Reception on August 3rd from 5pm until 8pm

The title of VanBooven’s exhibit comes from the subject matter he finds most intriguing.  The simple beauty of nature, the robust colors and interesting lighting found in flowers, the story and history of different places and the unique expressions, textures and lines. These are the inspirations behind the photographs of Frozen in Time.  Another constant source of inspiration for VanBooven is a quote he once read, “Photography is the Language of Captured Moments that Evoke Emotion and Story.”  Looking at VanBooven’s collection of photography, that quote certainly rings true.
