Adams, who is the youngest artist to ever show at Mulberry Street , has been collecting berries, flowers, bark and all things in nature since she was a toddler. The theme of her photography stems from her love of flowers and her desire to learn where life comes from. She builds fairy houses in the woodland behind her home in hopes of providing a quaint and comfortable place for the gnomes and fairies to live. Gracie’s attention to detail has provided her with many opportunities to snap photos in all kinds of light. She takes the camera outside and quickly gets lost in her subjects.
Gracie looks for vivid colors to use in her flower photos. She likes to take pictures of flowers after a rainy day and loves to capture water droplets on petals. Gracie captures the inner most details of any flower she can. Gracie explains, “Finding treasures in my yard and taking pictures of them is a fun way for me to spend my time.”
